Summary

Foreign direct investment plays an immeasurably large role in reforming and reviving the economies of both developed and developing countries.

The paper analyzes the main trends in the dynamics of foreign direct investment in Georgia at the current stage of globalization and the indicators of its use in sectoral and regional contexts. It focuses on the development and practical application of both global and local pandemic-induced mechanisms. The paper emphasizes that we must properly understand and learn to coexist and coexist with any virus not only in terms of its prevention, containment and eventual defeat, but also in terms of managing and overcoming the economic crises and shocks caused by it.
